Dé Corona Proof

Within walking distance of Heerlen center, when you walk up the Molenberg, lies the old Pliegerhal. This former sanitary factory will be transformed for C-proof into an interactive art exhibition in the field of, among other things. Urban Art, visual arts, dance and more.

Depending on the Covid measures, we hope that the exhibition can start from 19 January 2021. Because postponement does not lead to cancellation! The show may then also run longer than 4 april, it keeps 'growing', as it were. Because art is not static, it is constantly evolving and subject to all kinds of influences, just like our society. New artists will be at work in the open studio every week. Here you can take a look behind the scenes of an artist. It is also possible to have a completely Corona-proof chat with the artists present and to have artworks made to measure. This is how we offer a platform 60+ renowned artists from the region and beyond. By creating a symbiotic environment in which different artists and art movements are welcome, we plant a seed. The goal is to, by using each other's talents and inspiring each other, instead of competing with each other, to let this creative seed germinate and grow into a tree of life’ - a reflection of our society through the eyes of artists.

Follow Foundation Getting Up on social media for the program and the artists present.
